We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and creative teaching assistants who are open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs.
This is a term time only post, take home pay for the post is £20,443 per annum.
Heather Bridge School is a newly opened special school for pupils aged 6 to 19 years,set in a beautiful location near Yelverton on the edge of Dartmoor.
Our creative, individualised approach to learning, is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we start thinking about where our students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.
We understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with pupils and families to nurture growth and development of relational milestones such as, building trust and sharing enjoyment. Care and making connections are at the heart of our ethos and we work hard to ensure that all staff feel cared for too.
