We are looking for an Operations Director who is passionate about delivering our vision for improving the lives of children and young people.
As part of our executive team, the Operations Director is responsible for developing and delivering our strategic operational objectives. They provide leadership across our schools, developing and implementing our strategy and ensuring that this is aligned with our values and culture. In this key role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and shape the future of our organisation as we expand our impact across the education sector. Your focus will be on aligning our services with our long-term vision, ensuring operational efficiency, and leading a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of our operations.
The Operations Director works in partnership with the Executive team and leads our Operations team, directly managing key roles including our Regional Operations Leads. We are continuing to expand our schools provision, which currently includes schools based in two distinct regions, South West and the Midlands.

Candidates must have significant experience of developing and driving operational strategy within the education sector. They must be able to demonstrate that they are able to support the delivery of high quality, aspirational and compliant services. As an experienced and inspirational leader they must be able to evidence their ability to develop proactive and engaged teams who work collegiately and promote our culture and values at all times. You will lead the operational team, provide regular progress updates, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Strategy: Lead operational strategy to align with Spaghetti Bridge’s goals, supporting growth and driving improvements. Inspire & lead the operations team
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion innovation, enhancing service quality and addressing operational challenges.
- KPI Management & Reporting: Monitor operational performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and report on progress.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, leading operations meetings to manage challenges.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all standards, prioritizing quality and safety.
- Pedagogy : Work will all relevant stakeholders to contribute towards and uphold our pedagogical approach – Enterprise Learning

- Experience & Expertise: You have a proven track record in operational leadership within the education sector or a similar context. You have experience in driving operational strategy, managing large teams, and implementing successful change initiatives. Your background demonstrates your ability to handle complex challenges while maintaining a focus on service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Leadership Skills: You are an inspiring, and experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You are skilled at building strong, collaborative teams and can motivate others to work towards shared goals.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: You are a strategic thinker who can quickly assess complex situations, identify potential issues, and develop practical solutions. Collaborative & Ethical Leadership: You are an ethical leader who values transparency, fairness, and inclusivity. You lead by example, with a collaborative mindset that encourages the sharing of ideas, fosters trust, and builds strong relationships across the organization.
